Tina Kaye Houston

Mrs. Tina Kaye Houston acquired her undergraduate degree in elementary education, and she has used that knowledge in the home school education of her own children for over 20 years. She teaches a variety of subjects, including grammar, study skills, and art classes and camps on Outschool since 2020. Before that, she taught ESL to Chinese students, from beginners to college bound high schoolers. Mrs. Houston has experience with struggling learners, coming up with personalized ways to overcome challenges. She aims to encourage everyone, and incorporates games and discussion into lessons so that students stay engaged and learn more efficiently.

Ms. Gabi

Ms. Gabi is a passionate college student who loves literature and the arts. While attending college, she has also been working multiple jobs that involve serving others...mostly students, youth, and children. As a student who learns differently herself, Ms. Gabi understands the challenges that come with academia. She has personally worked to overcome those challenges, and she loves to share her experience with others. Ms. Gabi joined our team of teachers to guide struggling learners with some of the strategies she has found most helpful on her academic journey.
